A Story of a Girl and Her Teeth - or Lack Thereof

When Lewlew started losing teeth, she REALLY lost some teeth!

She lost this one (her upper right) biting into a corn dog on 11/12/11

She lost this one (her lower right) eating chicken on 11/21/11.

Bret and I pulled this one (her upper left) with pliers as she slept on 11/30/11. Don't worry, it woke her up and it bled more than the other two. But the next morning her memory was fuzzy because I said she lost it in her sleep and she looked at me funny but didn't say anything.

Missing Teeth

A couple of weeks ago, Noodle lost her first tooth on the top. She pulled it out and is excited that she can still whistle!!
Lewlew lost her first tooth on 1 Nov 2010. It was really wiggily and I reached in and out it came. Super easy! She was excited! It got loose all by itself. So she lost her tooth due to natural causes - no dental reason. I keep thinking she's too young but I guess every child is different!
My too cute girls. Their outfits are similar so they wanted a picture. Don't ask why Lewlew has puffed out her chest. But anyway...

Growing Pains...

My sweet little Noodle had 2 baby teeth pulled today. She did SO good, not even 1 tear. But I could tell it hurt her and that made me so sad. She's doing ok now - after I gave her some pain meds. One tooth had a cap on it and was abscessing so there was no point in saving it. The other one was abscessing too, but the dentist thought it best to pull it too instead of doing a pulpotomy on it. Now she will have a retainer/space maintainer until her adult teeth come in. In a month we have to do the same thing for Buddy - O-Boy do I dread that one. He does NOT do well at the dentist. Maybe I'll send Hubs with him. Buddy needs to have 2 baby teeth removed to make room for her permanent teeth. I don't know it's a big explanation that I can't really explain typing. On a happy note, Lewlew doesn't need to have ANY work done. Yippee!!! I think she'll be more like Buddy - difficult!
