Three Musketeers

I don't know what they were playing, but they were all playing so good. They were playing under the coffee table in the living room on some scrap material. Shhhh, they're sleeping...

Hale Freezes Over!

In January Bestie and I walked in the "Hale Freezes Over" walk sponsored by the Hale Center Theater. It was so much fun! They had all kinds of prizes. We even won a couple. We just did the 1 mile walk because when we registered (a month before) they said the "race" would go on no matter what the weather. So we opted for the 1 mile in case of bad weather.

Seriously, don't we look so sylin'?? (I am the biggest DORK!)

Pine Wood Derby...

So I know I'm just a tad behind things, but Buddy had his Pine Wood Derby in January. It was his first one and he had a blast! I was impressed with the way "they" did it. They didn't give out 1st 2nd or 3rd. Everyone got to race once on each of the 4 tracks. Then before it started the boys voted on the cars - like which one was the best looking, the most colorful, most creative, etc. Then at the end, EVERY boy received a certificate. So everyone won. Of course the dad's that mad the cars for the boys didn't like this - but I did. Buddy did the majority of his car. Bret helped, but this was Buddy's project. And that's the was it's supposed to be. It was frustrating to me to watch some of the dad's (one even took a day off from work to work on the car - gag me!) But it was fun for the boys.

His car was painted like one of the Transfromers.

Happy Birthday Noodle

Noodle 6 weeks old

Noodle is 6 today and is growing up so fast. She loves pink, Hannah Montana, singing, dancing, playing with her friends, pretending and helping. She is very smart and so grown up. Sometimes when I talk to her, it's like talking to a 12 year old and in the next minute she's playing like an 8 year old. She is my extra eyes and ears. She keeps me posted on the happenings at our house, school, family and church. Her teacher uses her as a little helper. She finishes her work and then gets to help others. She is always going to the office for her teacher. The other day a guy asked Noodle if she knew her ABC's. She looked at him and said, "yes." Then he asked her what came after Z. She looked up at him with the most rediculous look and said, "nothing." (Using her "duh" tone of voice) She's got beautiful blue eyes and l o n g eye lashes. Her hair is a pretty brown with some natural curl- which she is letting grow out. She's quite opinionated and at times drives her dad nuts. There are so many times when Bret just doesn't know what to do with her. But if you sit down and talk to her, almost like an adult, you'll get pretty far with her. She says I am her best friend and I love that. About 6 weeks ago, she asked Bret if he knew Santa's phone number. Bret said no. Then she said, "Well how did you call him at Christmastime?" Uhhhhh. She just so quick and puts things together. Nothing gets by her. For all of this and SO very much more, I love my sweet Noodle.

Spring is here...

The tale tell signs of spring are:
Climbing trees,

Noodle with her 2 closest friends.

Riding bikes and scooters,

When being outside is better than being inside. The weather has been GREAT this week!

(Lewlew only pedals when she's going down the sidewalk. She does this sort of pushing thing with her feet when she comes up the sidewalk)

Three Musketeers

I don't know what they were playing but it was awesome to see all 3 of them playing together. They are under the coffee table in the living room on some scraps of material.

Shhhh, they're sleeping....

Lewlew is so funny...

Lewlew is constantly making me laugh. We have so much fun together. In the first picture she is getting ready for bed. In the second she is saying her prayers.

Does this look comfy to you?? She fell asleep in a shopping cart while playing with a cell phone.

Jinxed!

So yesterday, I read my cousin's blog about her son who doesn't like to sleep. I commented on how Lewlew went through a stage where she'd get up at 3 or 4 AM and then not go back to sleep until 8 or 9 AM - really annoying but she hasn't done that in quite a while. Well you'll never guess who got up at 3 AM this morning. Yep, Lewlew!! She didn't go back to sleep until about 9:45 AM and slept until 1:00 PM. I can't complain, I did it to myself. I shouldn't have said anything about her weirdo sleeping habits!

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and they are having a Twilight DVD release party 10:00 Friday Mar. 20th. I was just wondering: who is going to be there and who won't be there but will still buy the movie??? Just curious! Happy watching!!!
BTW - they are going to start filming New Moon soon - like sometime this month or next. :)

Draper, UT Temple Open House

On Saturday, our family attended the Draper Temple open house. Wow - it was really neat. Noodle had been looking forward to this for a long time. I was disappointed at the crowd. Holy cow, there were a lot of people. But it was still awesome! (I found these pictures from the church's website) Buddy's favorite room was the Celestial Room.

Noodle's was the Bride's Room and Lewlew like the chandeliers. Of course, everyone liked the Sealing room. I was surprised at how small it seemed. But my mom told me it was about the size of Denver and Albuquerque. That really surprised me. I guess I was just used to Mt. Timpanogas - which apparently is a "large" temple. I think the best part was being able to go with our kids. That was really neat. From this temple, you can see 4 temples. The Draper Temple (of course), the Salt Lake Temple, The Jordan River Temple, and the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Pretty impressive. We can't wait to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. This time, we'll go on a weekday!
