I've been tagged!

This is the first time I've been tagged and this one seems pretty hard. I'm a boring person and I don't know really know what to say. Here are the rules....

1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.

2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.

3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here I go, bare with me....

Fact #1:

I've had all 3 of my kids c-section. I actually did go into labor with my first one and I prefer c-section. Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it.

Fact #2

I'm a stay at home mom and I love it. It's what I've always wanted to be.

Fact #3

I wish almost more than anything that I could play the piano. But I play the flute so I can read music and that will have to do for now.

Fact #4

I am a night owl and don't care too much for the mornings. Of course, life doesn't agree with me. Kids get hungry before 10 a.m. and school starts way too early. So I don't get to indulge very often. When I do indulge, I usually (see #5 and #6)

Fact #5

I like to scrapbook. I've been doing it for so long, you'd think I'd be caught up. Nope, not even close. I've started digiscapbooking and that's faster. But I still have many pic's that need to be preserved manually.

Fact #6

I like to sew. I've made lots of clothes (mostly for my kids) and a few blankets (see my "brag blog" at the right). I've always admired my grandma who could sew almost anything. My mom is pretty good too, when she want to be. But I've really enjoyed it. It's fun to see what I can come up with. A couple of years ago, I made a jacket for Bret for Christmas. A couple months later, he said something about leaving his black and gray jacket at his moms and asked me to pick it up for him. I said, "The one I made?" He said, "No, the one you gave me for Christmas." I then explained that was the one I made. It was quite a compliment for me, even if it came from my husband who doesn't know much about sewing.

Fact #7

I like to talk. I always have. I got in trouble more time in school for talking than everything else combined. It can be a real positive thing - but it can be real negitive too. In my older years, I've tried to curb it a bit. My poor kids. They probably wish I'd shut up. But usually they just talk right back - at least for a few minutes. And poor Bret. I'm sure I about talk his ear off. Not to mention poor Valerie. We can (and have) talked for hours. Thanks Val!

Well I'm finally finish and ready for bed. That really tired my brain out. It was hard coming up with things about me. And now I get to tag:

A Few Conversations With The Kids

Buddy: Mom have you seen the flowers outside?
Mom: No, why?
Buddy: Because they were laying down like this. (He shows me with his hand) Are they dead or asleep?
Mom: I don't know, I'll have to look.
Buddy: Well I'm not a plant expert, so I don't know.

Noodle: Mom, will you plan a surprise for me?
Mom: No.
Noodle: Please, it will give me great pleasure.

Noodle was running through the sprinkler.
Noodle: Mom, I'm getting sock and wet.

Mom: Hey, Dad, guess what? Avrie pottied 2 times on her little toilet.
Lewlew: (very excitedly) jibber jabber blah potty jibber jabber blah toilet! (jumps up and down)

Noodle: Mom, will I have a baby when I grow up?
Mom: Yes, I hope so.
Noodle: Why couldn't you have our baby?
Mom: I don't know. Maybe he was so special Heavenly Father wanted to keep him.
Noodle: Why would Heavenly Father do that when He knows how sad it would make me?

Buddy: Mom do you know what a ??? sounds like? (it's some sort of dinosaur)
Mom: No, what?
Buddy: Here let me demonstrate... (He then proceeds to make an annoying nasal sound)

Buddy: (shouting) I went to all that trouble eating 1 more bite and now I have to go to my room??!!

Buddy: Noodle, just do what I do when I have bad dreams.
Mom: What do you do?
Buddy: I just pray to Heavenly Father and ask Him to stay the night with me so I won't have bad dreams and then [He can] go back home when morning comes.

Chloe is no more....

Well we no longer have a dog. Our sweet

Chloe Rae Tuttle

died last week. She was a Golden Lab and was 8 years old. She had hip displasia (sp) and tried to bite our bishop in his own yard. Then about 10 days later, she nearly bit another neighbor. But yet with us she was so mellow. Lewlew would crawl all over and when Chloe got tired of it she would walk away. But we didn't want to wait until she tried to bite a child. We had 2 close calls and it was just a little scary for us. We're thankful she didn't bite anyone, but still, she tried, which is bad enough. We're going to take a dog brake for a while. Buddy and Noodle haven't said much, they didn't even cry. We miss her but not as much as I thought we would.
