How many coats did it take to cover the red? I painted my kitchen red and I loved it for like 7 years and then one day I hated it so I immediatly got some silvery blueish paint and painted that damn red kitchen for a week. After 3 coats I declared it good enough. I will never paint anything red again, will you? Or if I do I should just do 1 wall instead of the whole thing! Anyway, I like your living room makeover. It looks fresh and springy!
Nancy, Did you prime your wall before you started painting? I got some paint at Wal-Mart that said it was a one coat paint so I wouldn't have to prime it. The paint was really thick and hard to "load" on my roller, but I only had to paint 2 coats. Plus I only had 1 wall - which made it easier! I'm pretty burned out with red but I might be able to do it again somewhere else and only if I did 1 wall or part of 1 wall. I'd love to see your kitchen color. Sounds neat!
