We had a great Memorial Day weekend. My mom got home safely from her trip to Colorado on Friday night. The kid were so excited to have their Nana home!
On Saturday, while Nana unpacked and decided what to do with all she brought back, Mister, the kids and I (along with Mister's family) went to Kung Fu Panda 2. It was a cute movie but the best part was sitting next to Lewlew. She watched it and blurted things out as if she were at home. In one part of the movie, the panda was hugging someone else. This part of the movie was quite as was the whole theater and Lewlew says out loud, fairly loud, "Awkward..." Most everyone heard and sorta laughed. It was funny!

On Monday, my mom, Bestie, Mister Bestie, Mac, Taylor and Tanner came over. Since it was rainy we decided to just stay in. We played lots of games. Some with just us, some with the kids. It was SO much fun! Then we had a delicious dinner. It was super yummy. Then we played games some more. And of course we reflected on why we celebrate Memorial Day. I'm always greatful to live in the great country and for the sacrifice of the men and women in our armd forces. But it's nice to have a day set aside to focus on these things.

You are the blogging queen lately - love it! I can't think of anything I'd rather do than sit around a table with friends and family and play games. So fun!
